This tutorial was written by and copyrighted to Seven on 19th November 2009.
For this tutorial you will need:
- Sox Sational Scraps' PTU-kit Vintage Diaries which you can purchase here
- A tube of your choice (I used one which cam with the kit)
- Picture (of Venice) of your choice (I got mine from stock.xchng)
- Mask of choice (I used WSL_Mask220 which you can get here)
- font of choice (I used Edwardian Script)
Let's start:
- Open a new canvas 550x550px
- Copy and paste paper of your choice and apply your mask.
- Copy and paste your frame and resize it if necessary.
- With your magic wand click inside the frame and expand the selection about 5px.
- Copy and paste another paper and invert the selection.
Press delete.
Selection none.
- Move this layer under the frame layer.
- Highlight your paper layer.
- Selection - all - free - not free.
- Copy and paste your picture, resize if necessary and invert the selection.
Press delete again.
Selection none.
- Change the blend mode of your picture on luminance (legacy) and reduce the opacity to 60%.
- Add a dropshadow to your frame.
- Copy and paste the leafs (Leafs), resize them and add a small dropshadow.
Move them in the left higher edge.
- Copy and paste the tag (Tag), resize and dropshadow it.
Move it over the leafs.
- Copy and paste one of the roses (Rose1, Rose2, Rose2) and resize it very small.
Add a dropshadow and position it over the knot from the dtring of the tag.
- Copy and paste the street lantern (Lamp), resize if necessary and add a dropshadow.
Position it on the right side of the frame.
- Copy and paste the bush (Bush), resize and dropshadow it.
Move it over the lantern.
- Copy and pase your tube and dropshadow it.
Resize it if necessary and move it in front of the frame.
- Write your name on the tag.
- At least you just need to add copyright and watermark infos and save as.
